So today was a geeky day.

I've decided to make a new cosplay...and not buy all the items.  I'm actually sewing it.  New project: Merida's green dress.  I've started by ordering my wig...and buying my fabric...I also took measurements.  I wish I had a dress form, but oh well.

Amazon is releasing a Supernatural soundtrack of the orchestrated music from the show. I must say, I am impressed with how it sounds, even if I don't recognize the soundtrack really from any particular episode. It would have been nice if they did it by season instead of lumping 1-5 together in 18 songs.

Title change! The Supernatural novel that was named Dark History is now on Amazon as The Unholy Cause and it is still being tagged with a April 20th release date, but no author. Heart of the Dragon remains the same and will be written by Keith RA Decandido, who wrote two other Supernatural novels, Nevermore and Bone Key ( Read more... )

Just bought Supernatural Season 4 on DVD from Target, with NY state taxes, it cost me over $40...I'm really considering returning it and getting the DVD from Best Buy instead.  I think the bonus DVD is only Q & A from Comic Con (not sure which year, could be 2009 or 2008).  Honestly, if I wanted to see what happened at Comic Con, I could go on ( Read more... )

Two new Supernatural novels are being released in early 2010!

Heart of the Dragon and Dark History.

I can't seem to find details on the books except for the release dates.  Heart of the Dragon will be released February 16, 2010 and Dark History will be released April 20, 2010.

Decisions, decisions.

Supernatural Season 4 comes out on DVD and I checked sale prices and everything.  This year, Best Buy has pretty packaging and Target has a bonus DVD from Comic Con.  But prices are different, Best Buy has it on sale for $35.99 and Target $37.99.  Which do I get, the pretty packaging or the Comic Con DVD?

The release date for the DVD boxset for Supernatural is given to be on September first.
